People have been avidly collecting model horses for decades. Model horse collecting can be a creative hobby, and behind the horses are a growing number of collectors and artists who show, paint, customize, sell, trade, buy, race and even assign pedigrees to their models.
Hi, my name is
Cindi Wyatt and I represent Brumby Studio which is located in Raleigh, NC.
I began collecting Breyers at an early age and because I was always drawing and
painting, it seemed only natural to try customizing. And as they say, the
rest is history! I love painting all sizes of
horses-from traditional to stablemate and even down to micro size. While a
lot of my work now consists of resin painting, I still enjoy painting Breyers
and Stones. My "weapon" of choice is the airbrush. I then paint all
of the details by hand using acrylics and pastels.
